How to cancel Uber One: step-by-step
The cancel button only exists where the charge comes from. Check your card statement: APPLE.COM/BILL → use Apple, GOOGLE * → use Google Play, otherwise you were billed directly by Uber One.
Billed through an app store? Tap to expand the right steps:
Subscribed on an iPhone or iPad? Cancel via the App Store
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Uber One, then tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- No "Cancel" button here means you were not billed through Apple — use the direct method above.
Subscribed on Android? Cancel via Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Uber One, then tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
- On a computer you can do the same at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Cancel directly on Uber One (web / account)
- Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and tap the account icon (bottom right).
- Tap “Uber One” (or Settings → Uber One).
- Scroll down and tap “Manage Membership”.
- Tap “End Membership” and follow the prompts to confirm.
- You keep Uber One benefits until the end of your current billing period.
⚠️ Watch out for
- If you joined Uber One through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel there instead — not in the Uber app.
- Cancelling stops the renewal; Uber does not refund the current month.
How to cancel Uber One — FAQ
Will I be refunded for the rest of the month?
No — Uber One is non-refundable for the current period, but you keep the benefits until it ends.
Can I cancel Uber One on the website?
Yes — sign in at uber.com, open your account and manage Uber One, though the app is the most reliable place.
How do I cancel Uber One on iPhone or Android?
If you signed up directly, you can cancel Uber One from any phone or computer browser in your account settings. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions screen instead — deleting the Uber One app does not stop the billing.
How do I unsubscribe from Uber One without being charged again?
Cancel before your next renewal date. Uber One keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and once cancellation is confirmed you won't be billed again. Turning off auto-renewal has the same effect.
Can I cancel Uber One without logging in or without account access?
If you can't log in, recover your account first — or cancel where you're billed. The Apple App Store, Google Play or PayPal can stop the payment even without Uber One account access. As a last resort, ask your bank to block the recurring charge.
Still being charged?
If Uber One won’t let you cancel, send a certified cancellation letter (it’s legally binding), then dispute the charge with your bank and file an FTC complaint.
