How to cancel Netflix: step-by-step
The cancel button only exists where the charge comes from. Check your card statement: APPLE.COM/BILL → use Apple, GOOGLE * → use Google Play, otherwise you were billed directly by Netflix.

- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Netflix, then tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- No "Cancel" button here means you were not billed through Apple — use the direct method above.
Subscribed on Android? Cancel via Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Netflix, then tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Cancel directly on Netflix (web / account)
- Sign in at netflix.com (cancelling is easiest from a web browser, not the TV app).
- Click your profile icon (top right) → Account.
- Under “Membership & Billing”, click Cancel Membership.
- Confirm by clicking Finish Cancellation.
- You’ll get a confirmation email. You keep access until your current billing period ends.
⚠️ Watch out for
- If you subscribed through Apple, Google, or your TV/cable provider, you must cancel there instead — not on netflix.com.
- Netflix restarts your plan if you sign back in within 10 months, keeping your profiles and history.
