How to cancel Grammarly: step-by-step
The cancel button only exists where the charge comes from. Check your card statement: APPLE.COM/BILL → use Apple, GOOGLE * → use Google Play, otherwise you were billed directly by Grammarly.

Subscribed on an iPhone or iPad? Cancel via the App Store
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Grammarly, then tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- No "Cancel" button here means you were not billed through Apple — use the direct method above.
Subscribed on Android? Cancel via Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Grammarly, then tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
- On a computer you can do the same at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Grammarly may refund a recent annual renewal if you contact support quickly and haven’t used Premium much — it’s case by case.
How do I cancel Grammarly on iPhone or Android?
If you signed up directly, you can cancel Grammarly from any phone or computer browser in your account settings. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions screen instead — deleting the Grammarly app does not stop the billing.
How do I unsubscribe from Grammarly without being charged again?
Cancel before your next renewal date. Grammarly keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and once cancellation is confirmed you won't be billed again. Turning off auto-renewal has the same effect.
Can I cancel Grammarly without logging in or without account access?
