How to cancel PlayStation Plus: step-by-step
The cancel button only exists where the charge comes from. Check your card statement: APPLE.COM/BILL → use Apple, GOOGLE * → use Google Play, otherwise you were billed directly by PlayStation Plus.
Billed through an app store? Tap to expand the right steps:
Subscribed on an iPhone or iPad? Cancel via the App Store
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap PlayStation Plus, then tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- No "Cancel" button here means you were not billed through Apple — use the direct method above.
Subscribed on Android? Cancel via Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select PlayStation Plus, then tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

⚠️ Watch out for
- Turning off auto-renew is what stops charges — do this even if you keep playing the paid time.

How to cancel PlayStation Plus — FAQ
Do I lose my saves if I cancel PS Plus?
Cloud saves stored via PS Plus may become inaccessible until you resubscribe; copy important saves to USB or local storage first.
How do I cancel PlayStation Plus on iPhone or Android?
If you signed up directly, you can cancel PlayStation Plus from any phone or computer browser in your account settings. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's Subscriptions screen instead — deleting the PlayStation Plus app does not stop the billing.
How do I unsubscribe from PlayStation Plus without being charged again?
Cancel before your next renewal date. PlayStation Plus keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and once cancellation is confirmed you won't be billed again. Turning off auto-renewal has the same effect.
Can I cancel PlayStation Plus without logging in or without account access?
If you can't log in, recover your account first — or cancel where you're billed. The Apple App Store, Google Play or PayPal can stop the payment even without PlayStation Plus account access. As a last resort, ask your bank to block the recurring charge.
How do I get a refund or stop being charged by PlayStation Plus?
Turn off auto-renewal or cancel first so no new charges occur. For money already taken, request a refund from PlayStation Plus (or from Apple/Google if you were billed there). If they refuse and you cancelled in time, dispute the charge with your bank.
Still being charged?
If PlayStation Plus won’t let you cancel, send a certified cancellation letter (it’s legally binding), then dispute the charge with your bank and file an FTC complaint.
